JOHN DEERE 1270D

The 1270D wheeled harvester is John Deere Forestry’s flagship model. As well as being environmentally-friendly, it offers outstanding performance in terms not only of productivity and cutting quality, but also of operator comfort and safety. At its ease on any kind of terrain and location, from plantations to natural forests, the machine is equipped with a low-emission John Deere diesel engine with electronic injection providing no less than 230 hp. Six wide drive wheels and a patented front axle bogie balancing device guarantee great handling and traction, and together with the low centre of gravity reduce the impact on the ground, enabling the machine to tackle steep gradients. Work is made safe and easy by the exclusive Timbermatic 300 system with TMCTM (Total Machine Control), which can be used to control and manage all the functions by the simple pressing of a key in the cab. The comfort of the cab is on a par with the interior of a touring car, reducing operator fatigue and thereby increasing productivity.
