JOHN DEERE tracked feller bunchers
The new G and J series have been designed by John Deere to process high volumes of timber 24 hours non-stop in any conditions. Highly versatile, they are equipped with a long boom and high lifting torque, making them capable of managing large logs.
With their high drive torque and height off the ground, and the various types of tracking available, they are able to move without difficulty on any terrain and gradient. The reliable 6-cylinder, 6.8 or 8.1 litre John Deere engines, with power outputs of from 135 to 205 kW and maximum torques of from 920 to 1230 Nm, guarantee low fuel consumption and outstanding performance at all time.
The cab is safe, sound-proofed and air conditioned, and has adjustable, shock-proofed seating and a radio with CD player to provide the operator with the utmost comfort throughout the working day.
Continuous 360 degree rotation means that any point in space can be reached with ease, and different types of head can be fitted, with cutting discs ranging from 457 to 560 mm in diameter. The machines are equipped with the TMC system to control all the functions: transmission, boom, head and engine.
