PALAX POWER 100S

Specially designed for the most demanding professional use, the specifications of this machine make it exceptionally productive and reliable in the processing of large logs. The 100 cm-diameter blade with Widia inserts can cut logs with diameters of over 40 cm, and it is fitted with an automatic valve that increases the speed or power of the piston according to the splitting force required. With the exclusive “Palax Optimi” system, the length of the splitting piston stroke is adjusted according to the required length of the processed wood, saving time and increasing the work speed. Various splitting wedges are available to meet different requirements: 2/4 – 2/6 – 2/8 – 2/12, all easily interchangeable using a quick-release device. A hydraulic clamp holds the log firmly in position during cutting, and the 4.3 m-long discharge conveyor, which is fitted with a winch and can be folded back for transport, is equipped with a quick-release device so it can be rotated with ease at the ends to load onto a means of transport, or to fill more than one bin without having to stop the machine. A winch with an automatic brake is also provided to make it easy to adjust the loading height. All the machine’s functions are hydraulic, and the control levers are grouped together to facilitate the work of the operator. The machine can be supplied to be powered by the tractor pto, with a 15 kW electric motor.
