PALAX POWER 70

The Power 70 series represents the new generation of firewood processors, with all the safety and efficiency associated with the Palax brand. The latest technology controls production by means of an easy-to-use set of multifunctional levers. The convenient 4.3 m-long conveyor belt, fitted with a winch and foldable for transport, speeds up finished product storage operations, increasing productivity by saving on time. The 2.2m-long infeed conveyor and the up/down movement of the cutting blade (Ø 70 cm, and tungsten teeth) are controlled by a single lever. Firewood can be obtained quickly and safely, with logs split into 2 or 4 (or even 6, on request) pieces, and cut to lengths of between 25 and 60 cm as required. The 2-speed splitting piston is controlled manually, and there is easy access to all the parts that require maintenance. The machine is available in two versions: the first powered by the tractor pto, and the second with a 10 hp electric motor used in association with the tractor pto. Besides all the standard features, the Power 70S version also has a joystick which takes the place of the mechanical lever in controlling the cutting blade and the feeding of the logs hydraulically; the adjustment of the height of the blade is also hydraulic, while the splitting piston speed control is automatic.
