JOHN DEERE SERIES G-III skidders

John Deere offers the widest range of skidders, which can be fitted with a vast selection of optionals to cater for every requirement. The 6-cylinder, 6.8 or 8.1 litre turbocharged John Deere engines, with power outputs of from 96 to 132 kW and maximum torques of from 522 to 785 Nm, are fitted with a common rail electronic injection system providing low fuel consumption and efficient use of the power, which is automatically adjusted according to the load on the engine. The cab is safe, sound-proofed and air conditioned. The seat and steering wheel are adjustable, and the soft-touch control lever is easy to handle with minimal effort, guaranteeing the utmost operator comfort and constant performance. Additional features are the Powershift transmission with 7 forward and 6 reverse speeds; axles with planetary final drive; and wet-disc brakes with wear-based self-adjustment.
The G-III series of John Deere tractors can be fitted with various models of grapple or winch, and are versatile enough to meet every need, increasing productivity.
